CoA’s Residential Parking Permit (RPP) page

As a result of the persistent efforts of the residents of El Paso Street from S. 1st to La Mesa, the Dawson Neighborhood now has its first RPP! The residents worked for nearly 2 years to find an alternative solution to what they felt were crowded and unsafe conditions of non-residential parking generated by adjacent commercial properties. However, when those negotiations failed to bring about a satisfactory result, they turned to the City of Austin’s RPP Program. The purpose of this program is to ensure that residents and their guests have access to sufficient on-street parking while also addressing the parking needs of those visiting the commercial establishments in the area.

Details of the program can be found at the link above.
