Dawson has some wonderful doggies residents and places to socialize and play.

Places to Walk
- Dawson Elementary has a vibrant dog culture in the evenings (and probably early mornings). The field is very large and largely fenced in, but not completely. Dogs regularly chase after their departing friends, or interesting happenings outside the fence, and have to be recovered. No poop bags or water.
- While technically not in Dawson, the South Austin Rec Center grounds have a graded path, with lots of shade, and some big fields. Friendly neighbors provide water and there are water fountains. You’ll meet other dogs and find a decent supply of poop bags at the Stone Crest Drive entrance.
